Topic: Wonder Girls International moves to WordPress!

Yes, I have finally decided to move to WordPress. I’ve been thinking about moving the blog here for a while, but never got around to moving cause I wasn’t so sure. =P But now I’ve finally decided and Wonder Girls International will now be over here, updating Wonder Girls media, etc. Please read the About section for a few changes that I made. They’re a little different than Blogger.

And also read the FAQ if you have any questions you’re curious about.
p.s. I’m still working on a few things on here, so please be patient.

MERRY CHRSITMAS!!

I know this is a day late. Had some quality time with the family yesterday, and wasn’t able to get on much. =P

First of all I would like to say…

Below is a little note on what Wonder Girls favorite holiday memories were!

^ It was funny how 3 of the members said nothing, when Sun Ye and Ye Eun actually wrote something. lol. XD

Since I didn’t prepare anything special (sorry. =P), here are some videos old and new of Wonder Girls in their Christmas spirit.

Wonder Girls on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

My sisters and I freaked out when we saw them on tv. lol. . They cut the song short, but it was still good. Oh, and if you’re wondering why Sun Mi’s wearing shoes and not heels is because she hurt her ankle. =P
I also heard that they were the #1 searched on Google. XD

Wonder Girls on MBC ‘Section TV Entertainment News’

The five members of Wonder Girls transformed into five adorable barbie dolls! The Wonder Girls were guests earlier today on an episode of MBC ‘Section TV Entertainment News’, posing in barbie-like outfits and hairstyles.

Studying each member, Sohee said, “I think the look suits Yubin the best.” On the other hand, all five members agreed that, “We all look ridiculous.”

In an interview with ‘Section TV’, the girls said that during their American debut, “We endured with canned tuna and ramen.” They also added, “Every week after getting into the Billboard chart, the number of those who recognized us grew.”

Sohee also mentioned that her favorite girl groups are 2NE1 and f(x).

Wonder Girls wins “Best Asian Artist of the Year award”

On December 1st, the Wonder Girls held their concert in Shanghai, China and the girls got to stay an extra day in Shanghai.

On December 2nd, the MTV Style Gala 2009 awards were held in Shanghai, China and the Wonder Girls won the award for “Best Asian Artist of the Year.”

Wonder Girls to appear on FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance”

The Wonder Girls are set to appear on FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance” program on December 9th, according to the So You Think You Can Dance blog:

“On Wednesday, Dec. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), Season Eight AMERICAN IDOL winner Kris Allen and pop sensations Wonder Girls will take the stage. Allen will perform his newest single, “Live Like You’re Dying,” and Wonder Girls will sing their hit song, “Nobody,” before America’s vote is revealed and Cat Deeley names the six dancers who will perform in the following week’s finale.

Pop sensation Wonder Girls sold over 30,000 copies of their debut single “Nobody” during the week of October 11 earning them the No. 76 position with a bullet on the Hot 100. This is the first time ever a music group from South Korea has debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Already a hit in Asia, the Wonder Girls are striking a chord with a young U.S. audience, having just completed their first U.S. concert tour with the Jonas Brothers.”

Sorry for being on hiatus…again. I know I keep doing this, but nowadays I’m always so busy; so busy that I rarely get to go on the computer like I used to. But yeah I have A LOT of catching up to do. =P For now, enjoy these videos of Mimi’s and Yenny’s favorite things.

Wonder Girls News 10.22.09 – 10.30.09

Behind-the-scene to WonderGirls’ upcoming Cafe Mori CF

After news went out that girlgroup Wonder Girls will be back in Korea for a new CF filming with MBLAQ member Thunder, a behind-the-scene video with a short interview was revealed on 28th October.

In the video, fans get to see the girls after so long in Korea and speaking in Korea. The girls also talk about their American advance and their experiences in the interview.

Wonder Girls “Nobody” Jason Nevins Remix + LIVE WEBCHAT #2

The “Nobody” remix is finally out! It is awesome! ^_^ Loved how they put those effects in the video.

And here’s a little clip of their 2nd Live webchat! I don’t know if the full recording of this is out yet. I’ll check for it later; I’m trying to rush posting this so I can wash the dishes. =P But yeah, the webchat was so fun! I tried asking them to say happy birthday to my sister and I, but I guess they didn’t see it. =P Oh well, there’s always a next time.

09.10.04 Kara – Nobody @ MBC Star Dance Battle

Hey guys. So recently I celebrated my 16th birthday! (Oct. 8th XD) Yes, call me young (or old) if you want to. Most of my friends say that I’m getting old because I’m older than them, which makes me feel older than what I really am. =P But it’s all good. lol.

So why not post a performance! XD Well, not specifically a performance by the Wonder Girls, but instead a performance by another idol group. Kara recently performed to Wonder Girls song “Nobody” on MBC Star Dance Battle. It was pretty short, but it made me realize how much I miss Wonder Girls performing on stage and such. As much as I love them being in America, I hope that they come back to Korea soon.
